The UK’s top food festivals

The UK is known for its love of all things gastronomic, so it stands to reason that there are a number of fantastic food festivals which take place throughout the year.

During the summer in particular, there are several great events to choose from, offering punters everything from beer to grass fed beef. Autumn also has its fair share of exciting shows, so people can sample a variety of seasonal foods which can then be purchased from online butchers at a later date. The Big Feastival

Presented by famous chef Jamie Oliver and musician Alex James, the Big Feastival is all about raising money for Oliver’s Better Food Foundation. It also promotes the adoption of a healthy diet with a range of fun activities. This takes place over the weekend of August 31 and September 1 at James’ farm in Oxfordshire, where people can come for the weekend to camp or stay nearby in a hotel.

Ludlow Food Festival

The Ludlow Food Festival takes place just as the summer begins to come to an end –from September 13 to September 15. The event combines workshops and attractions with plenty of opportunities to taste the local produce, such as the area’s award winning sausages.

Good Food Show London

This popular event takes place from November 15-17 and gives its guests the chance to learn from a number of food experts. Attendees at this year’s event will also be able to enjoy the Great British Bake Off Village, which is a new addition.
