The past few years have seen a surge in cooking shows and celebrity chefs, and even a combination of the two in the form of celebrity cooking shows.

Although food has always been a huge part of the media, cooking has almost formed its own trend. From celebrity chefs to home cooks, everybody wants to try their hand at creating their own meal, and one of the most diverse foods to use is grass fed beef.

The benefits of grass fed meat have been highlighted heavily in media reports and also by top chefs. The main thing to know about grass fed beef is that it is produced from cattle that have been fed purely on pasture, which is their natural diet. Many people believe this to be the ‘true’ beef and would not buy any other type.

In the kitchen, grass fed beef is also a beneficial food type. Its diversity allows meat-eaters to cook it in the oven, on the grill, or even in a frying pan. While many people have their favourite recipes and best ways to cook beef, there are so many that can be done very easily and quickly.

Perhaps the most common use for grass fed beef is pairing it with vegetables, potatoes and gravy for a traditional Sunday roast.
