Reg Johnson and Bud Swarbrick have been producing poultry since the 1960's and now have a reputation with numerous top chefs and the public for some of the finest poultry in the Country.
The birds are raised at Swainson Farm which is located in the picturesque village of Goosnargh on the edge of the Ribble Valley. Reg is passionate about the way he rears their birds and takes great care to ensure they have the highest welfare standards.
The Turkeys are matured slowly over 22 weeks and are free to roam and roost in large airy open barns. All of them are raised on a GM free, cereal diet which is mixed on site and contains no growth promoting nasties.
When you try a Goosnargh Turkey you will instantly notice it roast's to a fantastically crisp finish and has a superb depth of flavour. The Turkeys come prepared in the traditional manner ready for the oven and giblets are included which is an essential for making great stock.
