Johnson and Swarbrick have been producing Goosnargh ducks since the 1960's. The ducks are reared slowly with no aid from growth promoters. They are then dry plucked and hung which intensifies the flavour - the result is amazing but you don't have to take our word for it as these currently being used by a host of Michelin - starred chefs including Simon Rogan (L'enclume), Paul Heathcote (Heathcote's) & Nigel Haworth (Northcote Manor).

Simply fabulous

By far the best duck I have ever has none of the water content of supermarket duck -when roasted the flesh is brown and really crispy with very little fat under the skin, just enough to give it taste and suuculance!
I will always buy my duck from Mathews.

By far the best duck I've ever had

This duck is so so good you'll never want to eat any other. It was such a treat. It is also quite big so no need to skimp on portion sizes. Arrived brilliantly packed with solid ice and woolly blankets. So impressed! Such good value too.
