Reg Johnson's corn fed chickens are now famous across the UK particularly in London and around Borough Market. The chickens are slow reared over eight to ten weeks instead of the intensive six week rearing period for broiler chickens. They are fed on a totally natural diet with no additives, growth promoters or antibiotics. Their flavour is superb but you don't have to take our word for it as there currently being used by a host of Michelin - starred chefs including Paul Heathcote & Nigel Haworth who have been singing their praises for years.

How chicken should be

Even though I had a cold at the time of cooking this I could still taste it. Really makes you realise how tasteless supermarket chicken is. Made a number of meals in various guises all of which were good and the taset of the chicken came through in all of them.
