This sausage pays tribute to its close ally the Bury black pudding. But we don't just put any old black pudding in our sausage no, no, no!!! It has to be the best to go with our rare breed pork and that can only mean Chadwick's Bury Black pudding.
This sausage really is a celebration of Lancashire we carefully mix the black pudding with our Gloucester Old Spot or Saddleback rare breed pork and some of Albert Matthews' secret family seasoning. The black pudding compliments the pork beautifully. You can go down the bangers and mash route with this sausage but I'd keep it simple and serve with scrambled egg and toast. Lancashire perfection on a plate!!! **or serve as toad in the hole*** Lancashire and Yorkshire on a plate, controversial!!!!
