Pork loin steaks are a similar cut to pork chops but without the bone. They make great a great value quick, mid week supper and lend themselves well to being pan fried, grilled or roasted but can also be braised if browned off first.
Our rare breed loins have excellent marbling so remain moist and flavoursome when you sometimes find supermarket bought pork loin steaks a little dry. For best results pan fry on both sides for a few minutes then coat in wholegrain mustard, sprinkle with salt and place the pan under the grill. Delicious!
