We take our entry into competitions very seriously and believe it to be the best way to prove to people how good our products are. Many hours are spent finding the best farms to source livestock from as well as experimenting to find the best methods & recipes to maximise the flavour and tenderness in our meat and meat products

We believe the most prestigious to be the Great Taste Awards. They were founded by the Guild of Fine Foods and are acknowledged as the benchmark for food & drink. They have been described as the “Oscars of the food world” and the epicurean equivalent of the booker prize”. The GTA logo is quite simply a sign you can trust when buying food & drink.

2012 was the year when we had our most success with four product receiving awards and our heather fed lamb racks making it down to the last 50 from a total of 8807 products. What an achievement! The judging took place over 45 days of blind-tasting that included masterchef winner Mat Follas, restaurant critic and masterchef judge Charles Campion, food writers Lucas Hollweg and Xanthe Clay and more than 300 food buyer from leading food halls such as Harrods, Selfridges and Fortnum & Mason, as well as farm shops across the country.
